In the 80s "Drunken Boxing Master" brought Jackie Chan great fame and recognition, and he developed his style with the subsequent "Police Story". Even Michael Jackson has seen this film. Since then Jackie Chan has produced many hits and achieved super stardom not only in Hong Kong but also Japan. Chan's films are also seen as having dominated the South-East Asian market.
He wanted to test the waters in Hollywood in recent years. However, none of his movies have been very well received.
Lets hope his next movie does better.
